As 2022 begins, I just wanted to send out a quick thank you to all our wonderful temps, candidates, and dental offices who made 2021 such a great growth year for our small company.
2021 was our first full year operating DirectDental as we are. We had a lot of worries about whether we were making the right move on offering a self-serve dental staffing platform. But you all showed up, and it seems unanimous that this platform is precisely what the dental field needs.
Many BIG things happened this year.
We started posting all jobs onto every major job board, including Indeed, ZipRecruiter, Google Jobs, and more.
We went nationwide and have clients, candidates, and temps in over 40 states.
We grew by almost 300%. And added tens of thousands of dental professionals to our platform.
We added 3 amazing people to our team, including a recruiter (Laura), a developer (Benny), and a customer service/marketing man (Ben).
And we received many praises from you all regarding the services we provided. In fact, 9 out of 10 dental offices would recommend DirectDental to a friend or colleague.
Some of you were kind enough to offer several amazing suggestions to improve our service!
Here are some of those suggestions we plan to make happen in 2022:
- A better explanation of all are services and the ability to purchase them without having to call us (We love talking with all of you, but many people have asked for this). – We already completed this one – check it out!
- Temp and Applicant badges so you know who is actively looking for work.
- More outreach to all clients to discuss their hiring needs and ensure success.
- Temp on-boarding interviews, so temps know exactly how to work the platform and make that cash!
- Improved messaging platform to better connect applicants/temps with offices.
In these New Year posts, I like to include my thoughts on how hiring will be in the year to come.
I feel 2022 will be very similar to 2021, where there are more jobs than applicants to fill. So as we roll into 2022, I urge you to be ready should you find a vacancy in your office.
