Can you believe we are already a week into 2023?!?! 2022 flew by at the speed of light, so I wanted to take a quick moment to slow down and reflect on this past year, while taking a moment to look at what is to come.
First, I want to start with the Thank You’s
This year was super fun for us, as a lot of our systems and processes were in place and we got to work more closely with all our clients and work to develop new partnerships within the dental community.
Because of this, we saw many referrals and a lot of “word of mouth” marketing and we thank every single one of you, who has loved our product enough to tell their colleagues and dental communities about us.
We also thank all of you who have taken a moment to write us a review. Here are a few of those.

We are officially serving dental offices in all 50 states! With our Alaska and Hawaii clients finding great success in getting applicants.
From December 2021 to December 2022 we doubled the amount of users we had on the platform and our dental offices saw over 1.3 million job applications come through!
Things we are working on
Badges – We wanted to get badges attached to our applicants and temps last year, but it proved to be a little glitchy. We are proud to be testing them at this very moment and hope to be launching these by the end of next month!
These badges will let you know at a glance who is a top rated temp or a new applicant to the platform. This will help you make sure any job you are trying to fill you have the upper hand, since you will know who is the best.
Improved Messaging System – This one has proved to be challenging, as we want to give our clients better access to our candidates WITHOUT having our candidates phones constantly pinging. We are playing with an internal messaging system and would love to find something that works. We will keep you posted.
Predictions for 2023
One of these years, I’m going to get to say, “finding Dental Professionals is going to be super easy”. But unfortunately, this is not that year. There is going to continue to be a shortage of dental professionals in the field.
However, I do feel there will be more job seekers in the dental field than the last 3 years. This is most likely due to dental offices slowing down and no longer needing a 2nd assistant or cutting back on hygiene days.
Pay rates are going to continue to be high as the cost of living continues to be high. Make sure to look for other ways to cut costs so you can pay your employees competitive wages.
Another prediction is that labor laws are going to make posting jobs with the mass job boards (Indeed, Ziprecruiter, etc.) more difficult as they try to stay on top of the labor laws coming out in every state. We will also face those challenges, but since we only focus on dentistry we can make those needed changes as simple for you as possible. And of course, make sure your job gets on all the big job boards with ease! As always, we will do our best to keep you up to speed on these ever changing labor laws.
